Sweetlemondae, a 23-year-old rapper, was just 15 when she began releasing music on Soundcloud and YouTube. Reflected in her rapping style and sound, Sweetlemondae draws inspiration from a variety of influential artists including Little Simz, Coi Leray, IAMDDB and 070 Shake.
In September 2022, Sweetlemondae’s Diffusion Lab debut single ‘Never Gonna Be’ launched her onto the Irish music scene, and peaked at #48 on the Irish Airplay Chart.
2023 is looking bright for Sweetlemondae. She is part of the 2FM Rising list, and performed with a selection of fellow Rising acts at the St Patrick’s Day Festival Quarter in the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks.
Earlier this month, she opened for Caity Baiser in The Academy. An act not to be missed, you can catch her live at Body & Soul Festival this summer June 16th-18th.
